jennifer mcguigganJennifer (Jenna) McGuiggan hosts The Word Cellar Writers Guild, an online community and craft hub for writers. She works as a freelance writer, editor, and coach, and she teaches writing classes through her website and for organizations such as Creative Nonfiction. Her work has appeared in New World Writing, The Manifest-Station, Connotation PressFlycatcher, Numéro Cinq, Brevity’s Nonfiction Blog, and elsewhere. Her essays have been nominated for Best of the Net and chosen as a finalist for Prime Number Magazine’s Creative Nonfiction Contest. She edited and published the chapbook anthology Lanterns: A Gathering of Stories. Jenna received her MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Currently, she is finishing a book of linked essays, starting a memoir, and looking sidelong into the realm of fiction at the novel that keeps whispering her name and demanding to be written.
